The first set of these videos was presented last Thursday night at a reception and special screening. Our partner NYC Personal Injury Attorney Anthony Gair who is the son of Harriett and Harry Gair, spoke on behalf of his deceased mother in a video, was also present at the reception.
A fervent defender of Justice, Harriett was the president of the Women’s Bar Association in 1972 and 1973. She was also a Town Justice of the Town of Putnam Valley, NY, and a member of the Town Board of Putnam Valley. Harriett believed in education and reading accessible to all and sponsored the creation of the Putnam Valley Free Library. She was on the Board of Trustees of the library and a president of the Mid-Hudson Library System.
Harriett believed in giving back and during her tenure as a managing partner of our firm she helped numerous employees finance their education.
In the documentary, Tony Gair remembers his mother as a highly driven professional and a fighter for justice for the less fortunate.
